Hangzhou has just released its official G20 promotional video, which features a man and a woman conversing about some of the city’s highlights, followed by a chorus encouraging more people from around the world to visit the city, “ ’cuz Hangzhou’s got it all.”

The G20 is Hangzhou’s first big chance to increase its international brand awareness and become a worldwide tourism hotspot, which is why all of the stops have been pulled out on spending for public construction and promotional projects.

Here's the video:

Lyrics:

Intro:
M: Hey, have you been to Hangzhou? It’s in China
W: Yeah, it’s civic, epic, amazing, and the place to be
M: From the high temples pointing to the sky
W: To the rivers flowing down to the West Lake
M: Be amazed by the culture and nature’s beauty
W: Look, an osthmanthus tree!

Chorus:
“From the colors of silk to the taste of tea, let’s make a memory

Take a selfie, make a wave-ie and come with me
To the home of Alibaba

Hangzhou, come Hangzhou, the G20 city

Say G20 come to Hangzhou, ‘cuz Hangzhou’s got it all

You know that Hangzhou’s the place to be

Hangzhou, come Hangzhou, ‘cuz Hangzhou’s got it all

Say G20 come to Hangzhou, ‘cuz Hangzhou’s got it all

You know that Hangzhou’s the place to be”

Come to Hangzhou!

Do you think this video accurately shows the best parts of Hangzhou to the world? Do you think it will attract more international travelers?
